Lakers Baseball Tops Anne Arundel in Double Header

The Finger Lakes Community College baseball team defeated the Riverhawks from Anne Arundel yesterday, March 25, in both games of the double header matchup.  With the victories, the Lakers improve their record to 12-3 overall.

Cole DuBois started on the mound in game one for Finger Lakes.  DuBois played four innings for the Lakers, allowing six hits after facing seventeen batters.  Cole Tracy finished 4-for-5 with four RBI's and three runs scored.  The Lakers defeated the Riverhawks by a final score of 14-10.

The Lakers defeated Anne Arundel by a final score of 8-5 in game two.  Mike Magnanti finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI.  Ryan Richer went 2-for-3 with three RBI's.  JT Angora and Caden Giroux had two hits apiece.  

The Lakers will finish their spring break competition today, March 26, when the take on CCBC Essex in a double header matchup.  Game times are set for 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM.
