Lakers Baseball Sweeps Cannoneers

The Finger Lakes Community College baseball team swept the Cannoneers in a double header matchup last Friday, April 1.  With the victories, the Lakers improve to 15-4 overall.

Reston Pettit pitched a complete game for the Lakers in game one with five strikeouts against the Cannoneers.  James Mitchell finished 3-for-3 with two homeruns and five RBI's.  JT Angora went 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.  

 Michael Donofrio started on the mound for the Lakers in game two.  He pitched five innings, allowing five hits while striking out seven batters. Stephen Fredenall got the save for the Lakers pitching two innings and striking out three batters.  Danny Goodbread finished 3-for-3 with an RBI.  JT Angora and Caden Giroux went 2-for-3 and Angora brought in two runs.  

The Lakers will return to action tomorrow, April 5, when they travel to face Jamestown Community College in a double header matchup.  Game one is set to begin at 2:00PM.
