Lakers Baseball Improves to 6-0

The Finger Lakes Community College baseball team improved their record to 6-0 after defeating Prince George's Community College in a double header matchup on Saturday.

In game 1, the Lakers defeated the Owls 11-10.  Reston Pettit started on the mound for Finger Lakes.  He allowed 4 hits while striking out 3 batters in his 4 innings of play.  Nick Ferrino and Mike Magnanti finished 2-3.  Danny Goodbread and James Mitchell each went 2-4. Both Goodbread and Ferrino had 2 RBI's apiece.  

In game 2,  the Lakers won 6-5.  Michael Donofrio took the mound for the Lakers in game 2.  He finished with 6 strike outs while giving up 6 hits to the owls.  JT Angora went 2-4 with 2 runs scored. Danny Goodbread finished 1-3 with 3 RBI's.

The Lakers will continue their Spring Break trip when they play Northhampton CC and Ocean City College this afternoon at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach.  Games are set for 12 PM and 3 PM.
