BINGHAMTON, NY -- Down by six at halftime, the Finger Lakes Men's Basketball team rallied to defeat SUNY Broome Community College 89-79 in Mid-State Athletic Conference action. The Lakers are now 7-1 in conference play and 18-3 on the season.
Brandon Bullock led the Lakers with 25 points. The sophomore helped facilitate the offense and assisted on seven other Laker baskets. Torry Wright continued his strong play in the Mid-State Athletic Conference and scored 17 points, right on his conference average. Junior Sims and Kievonn Banks each added 13 points off of the Lakers bench. Sims also added seven assists. Dylan Verkey was the fifth Laker in double figures with 10 points.
Finger Lakes will remain on the road this Saturday as they travel to Watertown, NY to take on Jefferson Community College. Tipoff with the Cannoneers is set for 3pm.
