Men's Basketball Keeps Home Win Streak Alive

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Basketball team kept their home game winning streak alive against the SUNY ESF Mighty Oaks on Wednesday night. The Lakers won 81-70.

The Lakers started off the game hot, ending the first half with a ten point lead ahead of the Mighty Oaks, 39-29.

The second half was a bit more of a struggle for the Lakers. The Mighty Oaks came out hot, scoring 41 more points. The Lakers just outscored them, with 42 points. This would give the Lakers the win.

The Lakers shot 27-70 in the field, which game them a 38.6 field goal percentage.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Rudy Bragg with 19 points, Devin Green with 13 points, 17 rebounds, four assists, and five steals, and Rodrigue Marthone with 17 points, four assists, and one block.

The Lakers would play again on Saturday December 1st, against the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings.
