Men's Basketball Goes 2-0 on the Weekend

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Basketball team finished out their weekend 2-0 against the SUNY Adirondack Community College Timberwolves. The Lakers won 77-62.

It was the same story as their game on Saturday against the Vikings. The Lakers started off trailing the Timberwolves. They went into the locker room with a score of 42-38. When they came back onto the court, the Lakers' defense was the star. They managed to cut the Timberwolves scoring in half of what they made in the first half. The Lakers kept their steady pace of 39 points, and earned the victory, 77-62.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Hakeem Dobbins with 19 points, three rebounds, two assists, and five steals, Gedeon Germinal with 18 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, and Gethro Germinal with seven points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and one steal.

The Lakers will play their final game before Thanksgiving break on Tuesday, November 26th. They will play at home against the Niagara County Community College Thunder Wolves at 7:30pm.
