Men's Basketball Goes 4-0 On The Week

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Basketball team won out the weekend on Sunday against the Schenectady County Community College Royals. The Lakers won 86-72.

After a high-scoring game on Saturday, the Lakers were ready for their final game of the weekend. In the first half the Lakers scored 39 points. They kept the Royals to 26 points.

In the second half, both offenses were working even harder. The Lakers still managed to outscore the Royals by one point, but it would not be what the Royals needed to take the lead. The Lakers won 86-72.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Hakeem Dobbins with 33 points and five assists, Gedeon Germinal with 17 points and one steal, and Dante Cannon-Ford with six points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists.

The Lakers look to keep their win-streak alive on Thursday, January 16th at home. They will play Corning Community College at 7:30pm.
