Lakers Drop Three In A Row

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Basketball team lost their third game in a row on Wednesday night against the Onondaga Community College Lazers. The Lakers lost 89-74.

After dropping two games last week, the Lakers were looking for a win to boost their second half of the season. The Lazers came into the game ready to go. The first half was won by the Lazers 42-33.

Coming back from the locker room, the Lakers were ready to pull ahead. They managed to score eight more points than they did in the first half. The Lazers were just as ready to keep their lead in the second half and scored 47 more points. It would be too much for the Lakers, and the Lazers won 89-74.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Gethro Germinal with 23 points, three rebounds, Mason VanderMortal with 18 points, and six rebounds, and Gedeon Germinal with 10 points, three rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

The Lakers look to improve their record on Saturday, January 25th. They will play the Tompkins Cortland Community College Panthers at 3:00pm.
