CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - In front of a packed crowd for the Lakers' "Back to the Game" alumni event, the Finger Lakes Community College men's basketball team earned an impressive victory over the visiting SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves by a final score of 74-73.

Freshman James Reaves Jr. (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Athena) led the Lakers in scoring with 24 points. His performance included 6-for-13 shooting from the field and a perfect 9-for-9 from the free-throw line. His inside presence was vital on both offense and defense as the sophomore forward pulled in 9 rebounds to round out his day. Teammates Jaquan Shears (Rochester, N.Y./Monroe) and Jace Brown (Red Creek, N.Y./Red Creek) each scored 10 points. Shears added 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and an impressive 3 blocks, playing a crucial role on defense. Brown, in addition to his scoring, contributed 9 rebounds to wrap up an impressive day.

Sophomore Slayde Huntley (Herrin, IL./Herrin) added 11 points to the Lakers' tally, including 3 three-pointers, which were key in stretching the Timberwolves' defense. Off the bench, Marvin Reed Jr. (Durham, N.C./Faith Assembly) played crucial minutes down the stretch, contributing 5 points and 2 rebounds to his tally.
