Men's Basketball Draws #10 Seed in Regionals

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College men's basketball team has earned their spot in the NJCAA Region III men's basketball tournament following an 11-17 finish in NJCAA Region III regular season play. The Lakers, who are competing in the Mid-State Athletic Conference (MSAC) Tournament this weekend, have drawn the #10 seed in regional play. Their regional draw will send them to Mohawk Valley Community College on February 27th at 7 PM to take on the Hawks for the second time this season.

The Lakers will look to avenge their January 13th loss to the Hawks in the Sub-Regional round in Utica, N.Y. in the Robert R. Jorgensen Athletics & Events Center. The NJCAA Region III quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals will all be hosted at Herkimer County Community College in Utica, N.Y. on March 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
