Men's Soccer Falls to North Country

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Soccer team fell to the North Country Community College Saints on Wednesday. The Lakers lost 5-3.

It was a fight to stay in the game for the Lakers. After a tough loss to Monroe Community College on Sunday, the Lakers were looking to put their first win on their record. They were only three goals shy.

Dominick Morey scored the first goal and was assisted by Hunter Byron. Byron scored the second goal for the Lakers and was assisted by Phil Narraway. The final Laker goal of the game was scored by Sebastian Chavez. Chavez was assisted by Anthony Cardilli.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Byron with one goal and one assist, and goalkeeper Travis Cotton who had 17 saves.

The Lakers will look to get that win against SUNY ESF on Sunday. They will be playing at home, at 2:00pm.
