Mighty Oaks Second Half Performance Too Much For Lakers

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Soccer team lost to the SUNY ESF Mighty Oaks on Sunday. The Lakers fell 5-0.

The Lakers are trying to find their rhythm but couldn't quite get it on Sunday. They had a couple shots and opportunities, but none were successful. The first half was an exciting one. Both teams defenses were strong. The half ended in no score.

It wasn't until the second half when the Mighty Oaks came alive. Even after a goalie change, the Lakers couldn't match any goals and ended up with a final score of 5-0.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Phillip Narraway, Anthony Cardilli, and Dylan Wood all with two shots, Zach Payne with four saves, and Travis Cotton with five saves.

The Lakers play North Country Community College next. They will play on Sunday, September 8th at home, at 1:00pm.
