Jayden Donahue Named Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – Finger Lakes Community College has hired Jayden Donahue as the 2019-20 Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach. He will be taking on this new role after serving as the Assistant Men’s and Women’s Track & Field coach for the 2018-19 season.

Donahue is a Technical Specialist for Applied Learning and Internships here at FLCC and has been since 2018. Working on campus is a huge advantage as a coach and will greatly help the student-athletes.

Donahue attended Colgate University where he received his Bachelor’s in Sociology, Anthropology and French. In addition to his Bachelor’s, he also has his Master’s in Humanities and Leadership from New College of California.

During his time at Colgate University, Donahue was both a Cross Country, and a Track & Field athlete. He was a NCAA Division I athlete during his time there. Donahue served as the Cross Country Co-Captain during the fall 1999 season. Donahue has not stopped running since graduating from Colgate. He focuses on 10k-marathon races.

“I am honored to be coaching Cross Country at FLCC this season,” said Donahue. He will begin his season on August 13 when the fall athletes move in.
