CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — The Finger Lakes Community College softball team traveled to play Corning Community College Saturday afternoon, and the Lakers dropped a pair of games to the Red Barons.
FLCC (1-5) lost the opener, 5-0, before falling 10-0 in five innings in game two vs. the Red Barons (6-0).
Freshman Reagan Seelye (Elmira Heights, NY/Thomas A. Edison) singled and Hannah Capacci (Seneca Falls, NY/Mynderse Academy) added a stolen base in game one, while freshman Kalyska Payne (Savona, NY/Campbell Savona) tossed a complete-game, eight-hitter in game one.
The Lakers did not record a hit in game two.
FLCC completes its home and home series with Corning on Sunday, hosting the Red Barons for a doubleheader beginning at noon.
