CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - The Lakers sturggled to get the bats going against the Tribunes as they would drop two tightly-contested game to the Tribunes. Ella Lewis (Lyndonville, N.Y./ Lyndonville) drove in a run for the Lakers in the first game. Reagan Seelye (Elmira Heights, N.Y./ Thomas A. Edison) pitched all seven innings, allowing three runs on five hits, and three strikeouts.
In game two, the Tribunes (4-5) scored both runs in the top of the fifth inning and it was enough to carry them to victory. Aubrey Roberts (Cobleskill, N.Y./ Richmondville Cobleskill) had a strong game for the Lakers with six innings pitched. Roberts allowed eight hits, two runs, two walks and struck out five batters.
