As a member of the varsity basketball team in high school at Irondequoit: McCauley was a consistent scoring threat on offense at the guard position and standout defender on the defensive end of the court. She brings with her to the Lady Lakers great court awareness combined with the ability to create shots for herself and teammates. Coach Henry expects McCauley’s athleticism to become a key attribute to her game this season and beyond. Look for her to become a main option in the team’s offense this season. The freshman is currently majoring in criminal justice. Her career goal is to become a social worker.
