PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Basketball team grabbed their second win of the season on the road at Clinton Community College on Saturday. The Lakers won 64-50.
The Lakers kept the lead in all four quarters. They were up 14-9 at the end of the first quarter. At the end of the half, the Lakers scored 13 more points, putting them up 27-19. At the end of the third quarter, the Lakers score 16 more points, putting them in an even bigger lead, 43-31. In the final quarter, the Lakers scored 21, their highest in a quarter, which pushed them over the edge to a 64-50 win.
Game leaders for the Lakers were Abigail DeFisher with 21 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocks, and Becca Reeves with 12 points and four steals.
The Lakers would play again on Sunday, November 10th at North Country Community College at 1:00pm.
