Lakers Break Losing Streak Against SUNY Adirondack CC

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Basketball team broke their losing streak on Sunday against the SUNY Adirondack Community College Timberwolves. The Lakers won 68-34.

The Lakers kept on a steady scoring streak throughout the entire game. They scored 17 points in the first quarter, 13 points in the second, 14 points in the third, and then had their best quarter of the game in the fourth scoring 24 points. The Lakers held great defense and came out with the win, 68-34.

Game leaders for the Lakers were Abigail DeFisher with 20 points, 14 rebounds, one assist, one steal, and four blocks, Aaliyah Beverly with 12 points, five rebounds, one assist, and one steal, and Jaylea Ransom with 11 points, and three rebounds.

The Lakers will play their final game before the Thanksgiving break on Tuesday, November 26th. They will play at home against the Niagara County Community College Thunder Wolves at 5:30pm.
