CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College women's basketball team endured a tough loss at home to the visiting Hudson Valley Community College Vikings, 83-37.
Teammates Izzy Robson (Newark, N.Y./Newark) and Leah Williams (Olean, N.Y./Olean) were the leading scorers for the Lakers, each adding 15 points to the scoring column. Robson added 6 rebounds and 3 steals to her tally, while Williams matched Robson's rebound total while going a perfect 2-for-2 at the charity stripe. Sophomore Quynn Tallman (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) added 7 points, including 1 three-pointer and a block.
The Lakers are back in action this Tuesday, January 30th at Genesee Community College for a 5 PM tip-off against the Cougars.
