Jeff Shultis Named Head Women's Lacrosse Coach

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – Jeff Shultis has been hired as the new Finger Lakes Community College Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach.

Shultis comes in to FLCC with 15 years of coaching at the collegiate level under his belt. He was previously at Monroe Community College working as the goalie coach and defensive assistant coach for Women’s Lacrosse. Prior to MCC, Shultis was the Head Women’s Lacrosse coach at Cazenovia College for seven years. In his final year at Cazenovia, Shultis was awarded Coach of the Year for the NEAC conference.

After leaving MCC, Shultis was ready to be a head coach again and face all the challenges that come with the job.

“This is a great opportunity for student athletes to compete at the college and get a great education,” Shultis said about what excites him about coming into a program that has come back to FLCC after a number of years. “Women’s lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports for the women to participate in at all levels.”

Shultis is grateful for the opportunity to bring Women’s Lacrosse back to FLCC. “I would like to thank Bob and Samantha for having the confidence in me to head up this program,” said Shultis. “The administration has been very supportive and helpful in getting this program off the ground.”
