Lakers Struggle Against North Country

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Soccer team struggled against the North Country Community College Saints on Wednesday. The Lakers were shut out 7-0.

On their first week day game of the season, the Lakers found it hard to find their rhythm. The Saints scored four goals in the first half, and three goals in the second.

The player of the game for the Lakers was goalkeeper Megan Allen. Out of 19 shots on goal, she saved 12 of them.

The Lakers look to improve their record against the Roberts Wesleyan JV Redhawks on Saturday. They will play at home, the first home game of the season, at 12:00pm.
