Hawks Dominate the Lakers
CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Soccer team had a tough loss against the Mohawk Valley Community College Hawks on Wednesday. The Lakers lost 8-0.
It was a rough game for the Lakers on Wednesday. They managed to hold the Hawks off to a three-goal lead at the end of the first half. Once the second half hit, the Hawks kicked it into high gear and scored five more goals, giving them the final score of 8-0.
Game leaders for the Lakers were Cassidy Niver and Alexis Gossage each with one shot, and Goalkeeper Megan Allen with 22 saves.
The Lakers will travel next to Onondaga Community College on Saturday, September 14th. They will play at 1:00pm.
