Women's Soccer Ends Season In Second Round Of Regionals

HERKIMER, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Soccer team ended their season on Thursday in their second round of Regional Play. The Lakers played the Herkimer College Generals in Herkimer, and lost 5-0.

In their earlier matchup, the Lakers were in it in the first half of the game. Sophomore Alexis Gossage, had multiple attempts one-on-one with the Herkimer goalie but could not find the back of the net. 

In their matchup on Thursday, Gossage only had one attempt at a goal, and her shot was saved.

The Lakers would finish their season losing 5-0 to the Generals. 

Game leaders for the Lakers were Gossage with one shot on goal, and Goalkeeper Jen Maslyn with four saves.
