CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. — The Finger Lakes Community College women's soccer team hosted Mohawk Valley Community College Tuesday afternoon, and the Lakers (1-3) fell to the Hawks (3-0-1) 9-0.
Sophomore Sarah Barker (Bloomfield, NY/Bloomfield) made eight saves in the loss for FLCC. The Lakers were outshot 28-7, including 17-4 in shots on goal. FLCC's best scoring opportunity came in the 67th minute as freshman Allie Bowe (Victor, NY/Victor) ran towards the goal and ripped a shot from outside the box that struck the crossbar.

The Lakers welcome Herkimer College to campus at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 7 before closing out the season at Monroe Community College on Tuesday, May 11.
