Lakers Fall to Monroe Community College

CANANDAIGUA N.Y. – Women's Soccer fell in a hard-fought match against Monroe Community College with a final score of 9-0 Sunday afternoon, the Lakers record falls to 2-3-1 on the season.

Goalie Mackenzie Johnson-Boser (Dansville, N.Y./Dansville) had 19 saves on the night for the Lakers. The Freshman goalie was put to work against an offensive-heavy MCC squad who had 28 shots on goal on the night. Sophomore Allie Bowe (Victor N.Y./Victor) finished with 3 shots on goal, while teammate Sarah Nelson (Bloomfield, N.Y./Bloomfield) had 1 shot on goal for the Lakers.

The Lakers look to get back on track when they travel to Jefferson Community College next Wednesday afternoon at 2 PM.
