CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College women's soccer team hosted their second home matchup of the season against the visiting Raiders from Fulton-Montgomery Community College. The Lakers entered the matchup coming off two shutout victories over the Jamestown Community College Jayhawks, and the Herkimer College Generals.

The Lakers continued their hot streak in their National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region III matchup with the Raiders, defeating the team, 7-1. Lakers Sophomore Jenna Tenney (Canandaigua, N.Y./ Canandaigua) got the Lakers rolling with a high-arching shot in the 4th minute that would sail over the goalie for the goal, unassisted. The Raiders would score the equalizer in the 18th minute before Freshman Ella Lewis (Lyndonville, N.Y./ Lyndonville) would score on a well-placed pass from teammate Natalie Lecceardone (Manchester, N.Y./ Red Jacket) in the 42nd for the goal.

Lewis would head into the second half with a brace; however, Lewis would quickly extend her team's lead and secure the hat trick with a goal in the 46th minute, assisted by teammate Natalie Lecceardone.

Lakers Freshman Ella Lewis would quickly return the favor to Natalie Lecceardone, feeding her teammate for a goal in the 46th minute, extending the Laker's lead to 5-1. Freshman Sierra Sommer (Mt. Morris, N.Y./ Mt. Morris) would score her first goal of the season, assisted by Sophomore teammate Allie Bowe (Victor, N.Y./ Victor). In the 86th minute, Freshman Ella Lewis would chip in the Laker's 7th and final goal of the day, securing the haul and concluding what would be a statement victory over their NJCAA Region III opponent.
