Women's Volleyball Defeats Spartans at Home
Canandaigua, NY -- The women's volleyball team swept the Spartans from Cayuga Community College in three sets on Tuesday's Mid-State Athletic Conference matchup.
The Lakers took all three sets by scores of 24-14, 25-18, and 25-16. McKenna Guarasce and Madison Joseph had a great day at the net as they led the team with 11 kills apiece. Joseph also had eight digs. Katee Martinez finished with 17 digs in the match. Michelle Richardson and Melissa Resch had seven digs apiece. Taiya Iniguez finished with 10 assists for the Lakers.
The Lakers will compete in POD play this saturday, September 17 at Jefferson Community College. The Lakers will face MSAC opponents: Cayuga CC, Onondaga CC, and Jefferson CC. Play is set to begin at 10am.
