The women's volleyball team was swept by the Hornets from Broome Community College in three set on Wednesday, September 28.
The Lakers dropped all three sets on Wednesday nights MSAC match-up by scores of 13-25, 24-26, 23-25. Madison Joseph had 12 kills at the net, while Katie DeJonge and Lindsay Howell finished with six kills apiece. Katie Martinez had 11 digs. Brianne Avery and Taiya Iniguez finished with ten assists and eight assists, respectively.
The Lakers will return to action this Saturday, October 1 as they participate in a Region II POD at Genesee Community College. Game one for the Lakers is set to begin at 10:45am against Mohawk Valley Community College.
