Volleyball Dominates Saints
BATAVIA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Volleyball team competed in the Genesee Community College POD this past Saturday. Their third, and final, match was against the North Country Community College Saints. The Lakers absolutely dominated, and won three sets in a row for a score of 3-0.
The Lakers were playing the best they played all day, winning by large margins. They won the first set 25-10, the second set 25-9, and the third set 25-11.
Game leaders for the Lakers were Rachel Simmons with 13 kills, Kady Pierce with 19 assists, Megan Gass with five service aces and eight digs, and Anna Eichhorn with one block.
This would finish out their POD play for the day. The Lakers will play next at home on Tuesday, September 11th. They will be facing Cayuga Community College at 6:00pm.
