Volleyball Improves Record Against Spartans
AUBURN, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Volleyball team swept the Cayuga Community College Spartans on Tuesday 3-0. The Lakers won 25-13, 25-20, and 25-22.
In set one, the Lakers went 25-13 with eight kills, two errors, and 20 total attack attempts. In set two, the Lakers were 25-20, with seven kills, eight errors, and 31 total attack attempts. Lastly, in set three, the Lakers went 25-22 with five kills, four errors, and 22 total attack attempts. The Spartans were getting better as each set progressed, but the Lakers were still dominate and swept the match.
Game leaders for the Lakers were Morgan Testa with five kills, Brookelyn Kunzer with 16 assists and five service aces, Marie Rogers with seven digs, and Brandy Morrison with four blocks.
The Lakers will compete again at the Hudson Valley Community College POD on Sunday, September 15th. They will play SUNY Adirondack Community College, North Country Community College, and Hudson Valley CC.
