Two Lakers Named to the 2019 MSAC Volleyball All-Conference Team

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - Katie Harmon and Brandy Morrison have been named to the 2019 Mid-State Athletic Conference Volleyball All-Conference team on Wedesday. 

Harmon and Morrison are both freshman on this year's volleyball team and have found success in their time at Finger Lakes. 

Harmon is an outside hitter, a middle, and a right side hitter. This season she has 282 kills, a .215 hitting percentage, five assists, 32 service aces, 213 digs, and 36 blocks. She is currently fifth in NJCAA Region III in kills per set with 3.44, and fifth in kills. She is ninth in Lakers Volleyball history in kills in a season as well. 

Morrison is a middle, an outside hitter, and a right side hitter. This season she has 274 kills, a .386 hitting percentage, four service aces, 44 digs, and 51 blocks. She is currently eighth in NJCAA Region III in kills per set with 2.77, seventh in kills, and is leading the region in hitting percentage. As of right now, she has the highest hitting percentage in a season in Lakers Volleyball history. 

Lakers Volleyball will start their run of playoffs this weekend at the MSAC Tournament. They will travel to Jefferson Community College on Sunday.
