Lakers Continue Stellar Season

 CLINTON, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Cross Country team traveled to Hamilton College to compete in the Hamilton College Invitational Saturday, Oct. 9^th. 

Freshman Leah Lloyd (Macedon, N.Y./ Palmyra – Macedon) continued her stellar season, finishing 13^th at the event, a whole minute ahead of the next Junior College athlete. Lloyd finished the 5k course in 20 minutes and 35.4 seconds. Also on the day, Freshman Ericka Moody earned a 69^th place finishing the course in 37 minutes and 28.5 seconds. 

The Lakers prepare for their next race, perhaps the biggest thus far on the season, when the team competes in the Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship, which will be held at Tompkins Cortland Community College on Oct. 23^rd .
