Wilder and Reaves Power Lakers to High-Scoring Victory Over St. John Fisher

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College men's basketball team earned a thrilling 102-95 victory over St. John Fisher JV, securing their second win of the season. Led by standout performances from Bruce Wilder Jr. (Rochester, N.Y./Fairport) and James Reaves Jr. (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Athena), the Lakers efficient shooting and relentless rebounding earned them the win,

Bruce Wilder Jr. delivered a dominant performance, finishing with 29 points, 7 rebounds, and a team-high 8 assists, while shooting a perfect 3-3 from beyond the arc and 16-20 from the free-throw line. James Reaves Jr. matched Wilder with 29 points of his own, including 4-8 from three-point range, and added 7 rebounds.

Jace Brown (Red Creek, N.Y./Red Creek) contributed a strong 17 points and 9 rebounds, while Kellen Foster (Newark, N.Y./Newark) chipped in 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, providing a balanced attack from the Lakers' starting lineup. Off the bench, Joe Caito (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) added 5 points and 5 rebounds.

The Lakers shot 50.0% from the field and 72% from the free-throw line, sinking 35 of 48 attempts to maintain their edge throughout the game. 

The team will look to build on this hard-fought win as they return to Region III play this Saturday, December 7th at 3 PM at SUNY Adirondack.
