Men's Lacrosse Plays Final Home Game of Regular Season

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College men's lacrosse team wrapped up their last home game of the season with a NJCAA Region III matchup with the Tompkins Cortland Community College Panthers.

Despite playing a close game in the first half, the Panthers would eventually run away with a 11-3 win. Leading the Lakers was Tre Lloyd (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) who put two in the back of the net for the Lakers, with 6 shots on goal and 5 ground balls in the game.

Sophomore Matthew McKay (Irondequoit, N.Y./Irondequoit) had 5 shots on goal and would net the Lakers 3rd goal of the game. McKay would pick up 7 ground balls to round out his tally on the stat sheet.

Freshman Gabe Brugellis (Goshen, N.Y./Goshen) played a pivotal role in the midfield to help facilitate the Lakers offense, while also playing a sound defensive game. Brugellis would grab 10 ground balls and take 2 shots, one of which being on goal.

The Lakers will wrap up their season tomorrow, April 25th at Wells College where they will look to cap off the season with a win.
