The men's soccer team fell to the Hawks of Mohawk Valley Community College on Wednesday, September 14 by a score of 5-1.
The Lakers held the Hawks scoreless through the first half of play. However, the Lakers defense was unable to hold of the Hawks attacking force in the second half as they allowed five goals. The Lone goal for Finger Lakes came midway in the second half of play by sophomore Ethan Lincoln. Eston Moore and Brennon Blodgett split time in goal, recording four and two saves respectively.
The Lakers will host Onondaga Community College on Saturday, September 17 in a Mid-State Athletic Conference matchup. Kickoff is set for 3pm.
