Men's Soccer Loses to Cayuga

Canandaigua, NY -- The men's soccer team fell to the Spartans from Cayuga Community College by a score of 4-0 on Saturday, September 24.  With the loss, the Lakers drop to 4-5 on the season.

The Lakers battled in a very high-paced, physical game on Saturday.  Despite their best efforts, they were only able to manage six total shots, all of which came in the first half.  The Lakers defense did well holding off the Spartans, allowing only one goal in the first 45 minutes.  However, Cayuga would add three more through the duration of the second.  Easton Moore played a complete game, recording nine saves for the Lakers.

Following Saturday's match, the Lakers will travel to Jefferson Community College to face the Cannoneers on Wednesday, September 28.  Kickoff is set for 4pm.
