Canandaigua, NY -- The FLCC men's soccer team (3-2) dropped their home opener to the Kats from Erie CC (5-0) on Wednesday, September 7.  

The Lakers came out sluggish in the first half, giving up four goals to the Kats in the first 15 minutes of play.  The Lakers finally got on the board in the 37th minute off the foot of Brady Adair, assisted from Tanner Pierce.  

Pierce added a second goal for the Lakers early in the second half via a header off a cross from John Broyles.  The Kats answered back with two more goals, putting a Lakers victory out of reach.  The Lakers fell by a final score of 6-2. Easton Moore and Brennon Blodgett split time in goal, recording 11 and 5 saves respectively.  

The Lakers will go on the road this weekend when they face the St. John Fisher JV squad on Saturday, September 10.  Kickoff is set for 10:30am.
