CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - In match to remember, on Oct. 16th, 2021, FLCC Men's Soccer picked up a big come from behind win over Fulton-Montgomery Community College on the day of the FLCC Athletics Showcase event. The Lakers 2-1 victory in front of a home crowd over the Raiders of Fulton-Montgomery Community College improved the teams record to 10-5 on the season.

After a Raiders goal early in the second half, the Raiders seemed to have complete control of the match, outplaying the Lakers in several component of the game. However, the Lakers offense clicked and in a resilient effort, Freshman Forward Chuck Domm (East Rochester, N.Y./ East Rochester) chipped in a goal to tie the match, 1-1, in the 74'. Chuck Domm had other plans for the Lakers, chipping in the decisive and eventual game winning goal in the 78' to complete the memorable comeback victory. With one game left on the regular season, heading into the regional tournament, the Lakers needed a win and Domm delivered. In the proccess, Domm broke a FLCC Men's Soccer record for goals scored in a season, with 26. Domm breaks the record held by FLCC Athletics Hall of Fame member Eric Marsh, who scored 25 goals in his Sophomore season in 1997. Marsh was dominant player for the Lakers, breaking the single season assist record in that same 1997 season.

Domm's performance earned him the National Junior College Athletic Assocation (NJCAA) Region III Athlete of the Week award for his perfomance. In a heartbreaking 4-3 overtime loss to the Generals of Herkimer College, Domm chipped in 2 assists to add to his weekly accolades.
