GLEN ELLYN, Il. - The Finger Lakes Community College men's volleyball team's quest for a second-straight National Invitational title is still alive following a 3-game sweep in pool play and a victory over Nassau Community College in the quarterfinal round.

Setter Bryce Ceravolo (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) was critical to the offensive attack, dishing out 37 assists while adding a block to his tally on the defensive end, amassing 11 points in the match. Teammates Aaron Hennessy (Geneva, N.Y./Geneva) and Nick Ferris (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) added a spark on offense and defense to help seal the victory.

The Lakers' impressive performance saw the team's win streak extend to 19 matches as they continue to play at their top form at the most crucial point of the season. Up next for the team is a semifinal matchup with the host Chapparals of the College of DuPage tomorrow, April 14th at 12 PM EST. The two teams met in just the Lakers' third match of the season where they took home a 3-0 sweep over the Chapparals at the Monroe College Invitational. The team will look to earn their spot in yet another National Invitational Championship match with a victory over DuPage.
