
Cross Country Competes at Roberts Wesleyan Invitational
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College cross country teams competed in their third meet of the season at the Roberts Wesleyan Harry F. Anderson Invitational on Saturday. The Lakers faced tough competition and delivered strong performances on both the men's and women's sides.
In the men's 8000m race, Edarius Trimble led the Lakers, crossing the finish line with a time of 32:34.9, while teammate Griffin Miller followed closely behind with a time of 33:21.8.
On the women's side, Kayla Dunstan continued to pace the Lakers, finishing the 5000m race with a time of 25:06.4, earning the team's top spot. Alana Bedell completed the course in 26:48.5, and Madisyn Everdyke rounded out the Lakers' lineup with a time of 28:33.9.
The Lakers will look to build on their efforts as they prepare for their next meet on Saturday, October 12th when they travel to Houghton University for the Houghton Highlander Invitational.
