SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College women's basketball team faced a challenging game against Onondaga Community College, falling 75-29.
Jazzmyn Lewis (Waterloo, N.Y./Waterloo) led the Lakers with 8 points while pulling down a team-high 9 rebounds and recording an impressive 8 steals. Kierra Shaughnessy (Canastota, N.Y./Canastota) added 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds, while Eliana Mason (Frederick, MD./New Life Christian) contributed 6 points and 5 rebounds.
The Lakers fought hard on the boards, securing 32 total rebounds, including 9 from Vivien Libby (South Dayton, N.Y./Pine Valley), but turnovers proved costly as Onondaga capitalized on the Lakers' 27 miscues.
