CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - On Wednesday evening, the Finger Lakes Community College women's soccer team welcomed the Lazers of Onondaga Community College to the turf. The Lakers would fail to find the back of the net at any point during the match, taking a 16-0 defeat in their home opener.
Sophomore keeper Hannah Cowan (Austin, T.X/Dripping Springs) built on her impressive performance in the net from the previous match, as she once again saved over half of the shots that came her way. Cowan would make 20 saves, tying the 8th most in a match in FLCC women's soccer history.
The Lakers will hit the road for their next matchup, where they will be taking on Paul Smiths College this coming Saturday, September 7th at 5:00 PM.
