Lakers Fall in Four Sets

BINGHAMTON – N.Y. – Finger Lakes Community College Women's Volleyball drops to 8-3 on the season after suffering their 2nd loss in 3 matches. The Lakers fell in four sets to SUNY Broome Community College on Saturday. 

Sophomore Brandy Morrison (Macedon, N.Y./ Palmyra-Macedon) led the Lakers with 16 kills, 12 digs and 2 aces while teammate Emma Sipos (Canandaigua, N.Y./ Canandaigua) added 9 kills, 17 digs, 2 aces and 1 assist.

Freshman Jenna Wallace (Baldwinsville, N.Y./ Baldwinsville) had a day, adding 15 digs and 37 assists for the Lakers. Freshman Oona O'Brien (Canandaigua, N.Y./ Canandaigua) had 11 kills, 11 digs and 1 assist while Emer O'Brien (Canandaigua, N.Y./ Canandaigua) rounded out the day for the Lakers with 25 digs and 1 assist.

The Lakers get back to action when they play host to Jamestown Community College on Tuesday, Oct. 5th. The Lakers then go on a road trip, playing 4-straight away games before returning to campus Oct. 16th against Corning Community College in a 12 P.M. and 2 P.M. doubleheader.
