Lester and Dunstan Claim Top-10 Finishes at Bruce Bridgeman Invitational

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - The Finger Lakes Community College cross country teams hosted their second meet of the season, the FLCC Bruce Bridgeman Invitational, on Saturday, September 14th. The women's race began at 10 AM, followed by the men's race at 10:45 AM.

For the Lakers women's team, freshman Kayla Dunstan led the way with a 10th-place finish, clocking in at 26:50.1. Teammates Alana Bedell and Madisyn Everdyke followed, finishing 14th and 16th with times of 30:32.3 and 34:42.5, respectively.

On the men's side, sophomore Zachary Lester claimed 9th place with a time of 31:54.3. Freshman Edarius Trimble completed his race in 34:09.6, while fellow freshmen Griffin Miller and Timothy Vilkhu finished with times of 36:05 and 38:07, respectively.

The Lakers will take a well-deserved break before competing at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational at Roberts Wesleyan University on Saturday, September 28th.
