On April 4, 2012, the Finger Lakes Community College Board of Trustees unanimously voted to name the Finger Lakes Community College Woodsmen Field after former head coach Marty Dodge. Dodge, a former professor of Environmental Conservation and Horticulture at Finger Lakes Community College from 1972-2011, organized and coached the Woodsmen team for 37 years.

Marty Dodge Woodsmen Field is considered one of the nation's premier Woodsmen facilities. As Finger Lakes Community College Woodsman Coach Ryan Staychock denotes, "not every competing school has such a beautiful facility on campus."

Dodge remains active with the Woodsmen team to this date.
