Student-Athletes Assist with Holiday Celebrations at Holiday Inn

Student-Athletes from Finger Lakes Community College participated in a community service project last Saturday.  During its last meeting, the Student-Athlete Advisory Board (SAAB) was approached by members from Holiday Inn in Canandaigua to assist in their annual Holiday celebrations taking place on Saturday, December 12th!

SAAB was happy to donate their time to a great cause.  Men's and Women's Basketball joined with SAAB members and helped with a number of tasks including passing out toys and candy with Santa and with dressing up as Disney characters and walking around during the event. Children and families got pictures with Mickey Mouse, SpongeBob, Olaf and Minions from the hit Disney movies. The day was a complete success for all those involved!

Thank you to all the Student-Athletes who participated on Saturday.  We would also like to thank the Holiday Inn for giving us the opportunity to give back to the local community and we look forward to being a part of this great event again next year!
